The Driving License course in Poland!

EU Driving License is for person who:
  • - stays in the Republic of Poland for at least 185 days in a calendar year (students, contract workers, etc.)
  • - is more than 18 years old
  • - has a medical certificate confirming that the person satisfies the medical standards required for operating vehicles,
  • - who has completed the minimum required programme of theoretical and practical hours of training

Documents You need to apply for driving license
  • 1. passport or permanent stay card;
  • 2. application form
  • 3. medical certificate confirming that the person satisfies the medical standards required for driving vehicles
  • 4. exam payment certificate
  • 5. one photograph (size 3,5 x 4,5 cm - taken without a hat)
  • 6. certificate confirming the completion of the basic training course (30hours of theory & 30 hours of practice) – School of Motoring     Certificate.

Exam procedure:
Step 1. Theory – carried out in an examination room in a form of a computer or written multiple choice test;
Step 2. Practical – carried out on a maneuvering yard and in city traffic.

Legal basis:
The order of the Minister of Infrastructure of the 27th day of October 2005 regarding training, examination procedures and licencing of drivers, instructors and examiners

Current Prices for Category B (car)

(Vehicles with seats for up to 8 passengers and max weight of 3,500kg)



Courses of lessons are payable in advance = 1800 PLN (EUR 450)

(30 hours of driving & 30 hours of lectures)



Individual lessons are payable per hour = 50 PLN (€ 12)

All prices include VAT 22%.
